Why should you care about preventing child abuse? Because whether you know it or not, as a member of our community you shape children’s lives in ways you don’t even notice. Children hear what you say and see what you do. We at Advocates for Children believe in prevention, doing what we can to ensure children live in stable, loving, stimulating environments. Healthy child development is the foundation for strong economic and community development. Anything you do to support kids and parents helps reduce the stress that often leads to abuse and neglect.
